Frances Baskerville

Frances Baskerville holds a long and varied career within the Maritime Industry. Before joining Noble Caledonia in 2023, she was Secretary-General of Comité International Radio-Maritime (CIRM), an industry NGO working in Consultative Status to the International Maritime Organization. The organization helps to set the worldwide regulations and standards in technologies pertaining to ship navigation and communication, including search and rescue operations, radar, mapping and satellite applications She travelled extensively for this role encountering many cultures and work environments often organising or attending conferences, workshops and exhibitions. Through her Presidency of the Anchorites, she met up with Noble Caledonia team and on her ‘formal’ retirement from CIRM, she jumped onboard as a fledgling Tour Manager. Frances currently covers multiple roles on the field which allow her to continue looking after groups of like-minded individuals seeking information and experiences far and wide, and very enjoyable it is too!

Frances has various RHS and BHS qualifications, is a Freeman of the City of London, a school governor, and a volunteer Samaritan. She is an avid gardener and enjoys working in ceramics and painting as well as all aspects of music which has been an important part of her life. Her former career over a period of ten years was as an Administrator at St John’s Smith Square, The Singers Company, Artists & Repertoire/Publicity at EMIand RCA Red Seal and Assistant Artistic Director at Nimbus Records.
